2010 saw some big changes with Fish Hook Entertainment. I decided to focus my efforts on Disc Jockey services and aim my Video services at businesses.
This year also saw our family grow by one new member, taking the total of Bests living in our house to 6. It can be pretty crazy at times but I wouldn't change it for the world.
Looking forward to seeing what 2011 has in store for Fish Hook Entertainment and the Best family.

One of my goals for the upcoming year is to be more "plugged in". Well, at least more active in updating the site. I really want to dabble in some podcasting.
I want to be able to bring you pertenant issues as well as timely information for you to consider as you plan your event. Check back soon for the first Episode!

My day job includes working with technology and teaching teachers how to incorporate it into their daily lessons. With that said, it only makes sense that I would use some sort of "techie" way for your to plan your event.
If you decide to use Fish Hook Entertainment for your event, you will be given an online account which gives you the ability to plan the entertainment for your event entirely online. This is very convenient
if you are planning a party from out of state. Simply log in, click on the desired planning area, save and log out. Once you log out, I get an email alerting me of your changes. If you would like to see what an account looks like, click Client Logon

Our Services
*All of our packages come with an online user account. This allows you to be in complete control of your event before it takes place. It also gives us all the information we need to make your event a success.
"Just Dance"
This is the perfect package for corporate parties, class reunions (not serving dinner) or a short wedding reception. "Just Dance" includes 3 hours of music, a professional emcee, and a sound system that can easily push a party of 300-400. The playlist is totally customizable by you through your own user account.
"You, Me and the Dance Floor"
"You, Me and the Dance Floor" is designed to let your guests mingle, eat and get out on the dance floor. Great for the average wedding reception, class reunions (serving dinner). No, I don't serve the dinner, but as your emcee I can make all the announcements to make your typical chaotic buffet a time of peace and tranquility (lol:) Seriously, we can create an atmosphere where your guests can stay comfortably seated until it's their time to get up and move quickly through the line. This package includes 4 hours of continuous music, a professional emcee and of course a sound system that will get your guests out on the floor.
"Let the Beat Rock!"
This package is great for those events having a cocktail hour prior to the start of the party. "Let the Beat Rock" includes 5 hours of music, of course someone to run your party and the sound system to boot. If the cocktail hour is slated to be in a different location than the "event" we have an extra system that can be used. Keep in mind that you can customize your cocktail, dinner and dance music or you can just leave it to the DJ.
"Tik Tok...The Party Don't Stop"
In the famous words of Ke$ha, "Don't stop! Make it Pop! DJ, blow my speakers up!" For those parties that are needing a little extra time. "Tik Tok" lets you add time to your event. You never know if you need more time until the end of your event. Our goal is to get your guests on the dance floor, keep 'em there and have 'em screaming for more when it's time to go our separate ways. In the event you need more time, you will need to check with the venue first. Once they ok the extra time, I am fine staying as long as you need.
